About Furniture Share

Furniture Share is the only furniture bank south of Tualatin and north of Sacramento, helping families across the Willamette Valley create safer, more stable homes.

Founded in 1998 in Corvallis, Furniture Share is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that accepts furniture and household-item donations from the community and redistributes them to residents in need.

What Is Furniture Share?

We accept furniture and household-item donations from the community and distribute them back to residents in need.

All donations must pass a health and safety inspection to ensure no additional hardship on our clients from broken or contaminated items.

Clients are referred from 100+ local government, veteran, religious, and nonprofit organizations. These individuals live across the Willamette Valley, but the majority are residents of Corvallis and Albany.

With a fully funded $895,000 annual budget, we can support the needs of more than 4,000 individuals referred to us every year.

By The Numbers

In 2025, Furniture Share provided 800 beds for kids, veterans and families and individuals; 467 tables and 497 food boxes.

The total number of items distributed was 12,482, equating to more than 300 tons diverted from the landfill.
